Hull's young musicians Christmas showcase

Talented young musicians from Hull’s youth ensembles will be taking to the stage to present a Christmas family concert at Hull City Hall on Friday 7 December. 

Organised by the Hull Music Service – lead partner for the Hull Music Hub, the Christmas concert will feature The City of Hull Youth Jazz Orchestra, The City of Hull Youth Symphonic Wind Band, The City of Hull Youth Orchestra, The City of Hull Youth Choir and special guests The East Hull Schools’ Choir.

The programme includes a variety of both seasonal and traditional music as well as more contemporary numbers including Sussido, L’il Darlin’ and Do They Know It’s Christmas, to name a few.  

Councillor Peter Clark, Portfolio Holder for Learning, said: “We have so many talented young musicians in the city, and this concert is a great opportunity for them to showcase their musical creativity and is the perfect way to help get people in the Christmas spirit.” 

Tickets for the show are priced from £7.50 – £9.50 with concessions available, and can be purchased from the booking office by calling  01482 300300.
