The Christmas Malarkey is a festive day of fun with lots of exciting things for children to get involved in.

There will be Christmas stories and songs, as well as opportunities to make crafts and create Lego models.

There will also be a special area for children aged under five called ‘Little Larkeys’.

Marjorie Brabazon, chair of Hull Culture and Leisure, said: “Christmas is a special time of the year, especially for children. The Christmas Malarkey will be a wonderful and magical event at Hull Central Library, with lots of fun things going on for children of all ages.”

The event is from 1pm until 3pm on Saturday 15 December.
