Hull Truck announces Christmas casts

Peter Pan will be flying into The Heron from Friday 29 November - Saturday 4 January 2020. This year’s awe-inspiring family adventure is recommended for ages 5+ and is proudly sponsored by Hull Trains.

Baker Mukasa - The Last King of Scotland (Sheffield Crucible) and Tina the Musical (Aldwych Theatre, West End), will play Peter, opposite Vanessa Schofield - Henry V, The Borrowers and Twelfth Night (Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre), as Wendy.

The rest of the immensely talented ensemble will be playing dual roles, changing when they’re in Neverland:

Aron Dochard - John/Starkey

Joanna Holden Tinkerbell/Nana

Ryan O’Donnell - Father/Hook

Jacob Butler - Michael/Smee

Melissa Dean - Mother/Tiger Lily

Completing the cast are 16 young people, aged 11 - 18 who make up the young company, playing the part of the lost boys and pirates.

They are a mix of Hull Truck Youth Theatre and Northern Academy of Performing Arts students. Jacob Butler, who is playing Michael/Smee is a proud alumni of NAPA.

How To Fly Like A Reindeer is an entirely new show, presented by Hull Truck Theatre in association with The Herd and will be in the Studio from Friday 13 December 2019 - Saturday 4 January 2020.

The cast is made up of Laura Lindsay who will plays Nina in her debut performance with Hull Truck Theatre and The Herd, she will be joined by Finlay McGuigan as Casper who little ones may recognise from Great Adventures In Storyland and The Herd’s recent show Slime.

A Christmas spectacle for 2-5-year olds and their families, told with original music, digital animation and projections. The show is specially designed for young theatregoers and their first experiences in a theatrical environment.
